Waseda University Team Wins Business Award at Student Competition “BioInnoSense 2025” on Biosensors!

At BioInnoSense 2025, Japan’s first student competition focused on biosensors and contested by four universities, the Waseda University team won the ” Business Award “.

This award is given to the team with the most outstanding business idea, evaluated for its potential to create significant social impact and inspiration.

The Waseda team was recognized for their innovative business plan on magnetic contact lenses with eye-tracking functionality. Their proposal was highly evaluated not only for its clear differentiation from competing concepts, but also for its strong potential to capture a rapidly growing market, leading to their award-winning achievement.
